Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ola Håkansson started the match with the kick off. Valter Wallgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ola Håkansson in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 10th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Wallgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 25 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Ola Håkansson. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Valter Wallgren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Woopbongo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led to Mexico's Alberto Tafalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Valter Wallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Valter Wallgren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Peder Sundberg charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peder Sundberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Woopbongo got a freekick which was hit by Peder Sundberg. After a defensive mix-up in Woopbongo's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Wallgren came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 46th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Woopbongo's Tim Månsson got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren. Valter Wallgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Joel Gaona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valter Wallgren. That made the score 0-5 in the 62 minute of play. A collision led to Woopbongo getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Mats Gerdberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Håkansson in the 67th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Törnqvist hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valter Wallgren firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valter Wallgren was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. Woopbongo's attentive André Törnqvist managed to snatch the ball when Leonardo Leoz made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. The supporters of Woopbongo booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Mancebo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Valter Wallgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Albohm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Woopbongo throughout the match.
