Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Earl Kjær took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Earl Kjær made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AC Østerlars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in AC Østerlars's zone, Luz Palacio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Didrik Faldal came out of the goal and Luz Palacio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xurxo Lagala in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Xurxo Lagala scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-0. Svetaslav Navojka's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Svetaslav Navojka helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when AC Østerlars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svetaslav Navojka didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Palacio in the 17th minute of play forced AC Østerlars's goalkeeper Didrik Faldal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Liam Beard scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 3-0. After 22 played minutes AC Østerlars got a freekick which was hit by Svetaslav Navojka. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Earl Kjær, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Kjær came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC Østerlars's Didrik Faldal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Palacio in the 29th minute of play. Luz Palacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didrik Faldal having to interfere. After 34 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luz Palacio made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didrik Faldal was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xurxo Lagala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 41 in the game by Xurxo Lagala from a close distance when the talented Julio Vera managed to make a qualified save. Ecuador's players were relieved. A collision led to AC Østerlars getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Jonatan Lilienvald hit a great ball. AC Østerlars's Didrik Faldal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 47 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Davide Campo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Davide Campo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luz Palacio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. AC Østerlars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felix Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Ecuador's Luz Palacio to fire away a dangerous shot which Didrik Faldal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Earl Kjær's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Kjær came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute Thomas Lindrup shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but AC Østerlars were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
