When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fryderyk Grucza made a kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Jose Manzanedo in the 54th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Academia Monte Gordo's Pascual Mouricio. After having played for 57 minutes, Adolfo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Monte Gordo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mao Zhen Hong, 0-2. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Fryderyk Grucza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mao Zhen Hong. Mao Zhen Hong yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 97th minute, Fryderyk Grucza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Chile played a much better game than Academia Monte Gordo and deserved their victory. The Academia Monte Gordo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
