Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Håkansson in the 6th minute of play. Woopbongo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edgar Albohm in the 7th minute. The corner led Woopbongo's Edgar Albohm to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ola Håkansson in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valter Wallgren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Ecuador's Valter Wallgren threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luis Andino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 38 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Håkansson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Ola Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Peder Sundberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play forced Woopbongo's goalkeeper Valter Wallgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tim Månsson fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Woopbongo's protests and gave Tim Månsson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 66th minute, Tim Månsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valter Wallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Montenegro in the 68th minute of the match. Woopbongo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Håkansson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute of the match, Ola Håkansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Julio Vera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Woopbongo's Valter Wallgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Woopbongo's You Qing Wen got a free kick in the 96th minute. Ecuador walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
