Emilian Ignat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 20thth minute, Marcos Cotilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 21st minute, Gavril Mahonea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Stoicănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 24th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in ⚽Babaciunile ⚽'s zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Stoicănescu came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute, Remus Vişoiu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Stoicănescu having to interfere. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gabriel Stoicănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. Gavril Mahonea kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Felipe Ros kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

Gabriel Stoicănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Remus Vişoiu in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Cotilla saved Panama from getting behind. Gabriel Stoicănescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Miralles in the 55th minute of play. Gabriel Stoicănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remus Vişoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remus Vişoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Remus Vişoiu. In the 60th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Stoicănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Panama's Miguel Miralles got a free kick in the 61st minute. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristinel Urdea, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristinel Urdea in the 67th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cambeiro. Lucian Stere lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 73rd match minute, ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucian Stere to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Remus Vişoiu hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Panama's Tomas Berganza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gabriel Stoicănescu. Gabriel Stoicănescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Gabriel Stoicănescu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. After 94 minutes, Cristinel Urdea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes ⚽Babaciunile ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Urdea. Alex Cambeiro was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 96 minutes into the match. Marcos Cotilla had in the 98thth minute some difficulties stopping Dorel Şelaru's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Panama were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
