The audience was convinced that Örjan Björk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Björk in the 9th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute, Örjan Björk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the game, Åsbro Flåsegutter's Örjan Björk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Åsbro Flåsegutter's Wiktor Ekström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Stig Bäckman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsbro Flåsegutter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colombia the free kick. A collision led to Åsbro Flåsegutter getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Stig Bäckman hit a great ball. Örjan Björk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. After 27 minutes of play, Colombia's Santino Seco made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wiktor Ekström was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colombia's Pedro Manzanares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Colombia from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Wiktor Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Colombia's Axel Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wiktor Ekström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wiktor Ekström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 51st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Örjan Björk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Örjan Björk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 61st minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Örjan Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. Kent Ahlquist replaced Sebastian Biörling. Colombia's attentive Kevin Mastache managed to snatch the ball when Júlio Castro made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 75th minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Wiktor Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 76th minute after Åsbro Flåsegutter's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. If Joshua Garrido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Júlio Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
