When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Aron Vikström. 15 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Classon came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Villiam Andersson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Karlsborg's Anton Stenman got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Kenny Ekeberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Ekeberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the game Gert Lund made a throw-in which Joel Classon played forward. If Anton Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aron Vikström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Aron Vikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 40th minute of the match. Luca Espinar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Vikström having to interfere. Kenny Ekeberg was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 45 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Kenny Ekeberg.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hans Norberg made a kick off. Matthias Borre hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aron Vikström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edmundo Espiga in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aron Vikström saved Karlsborg from getting behind. Edmundo Espiga who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Aron Vikström when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 66 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's goalkeeper Aron Vikström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edmundo Espiga. A hard shot 68 in the game by Edmundo Espiga from a close distance when the talented Aron Vikström managed to make a qualified save. Karlsborg's players were relieved. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 74 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Karlsborg's Aron Vikström tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 77 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aron Vikström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 83rd minute of the match. Hans Norberg charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hans Norberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aron Vikström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Sancho in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 87th minute. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aron Vikström was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 93rd minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Aron Vikström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Honduras left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Karlsborg.
