Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 程剑松 in the 21st minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by 北京万能朝阳群众's 石强棋. But to his dismay, 石强棋 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 33rd minute 石强棋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Alcocer charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Alcocer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 33 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. 石强棋 struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 北京万能朝阳群众. 35 minutes in the game, 胡昆霆 dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 石强棋 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 44th minute 胡昆霆 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Noboa made a kick off. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 胡昆霆 in the 60th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 胡昆霆 in the 62nd minute of play. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 温然远 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 石强棋 in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, 李宁霆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 胡昆霆, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when 北京万能朝阳群众's 韩镇强 shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 86 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 温然远.
