Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Oliver Bierhoff took the kick off in the first half of the match. 12 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Bierhoff came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremias Moreno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the Peru defense, Oliver Bierhoff kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. Anthony Alvarado kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Oliver Bierhoff's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Rolando Noboa was a little too slow when Oliver Bierhoff got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 3-0. A sloppy throw-in by Malcolm Westerberg in the 33rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After some careless play in the ADM Taquaras defense, Julian Murillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jeremias Moreno. The ADM Taquaras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Moreno should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milagros Fraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of play forced ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Denílson Tepedino replaced Oliver Bierhoff. The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute, Julian Murillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 60 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goalkeeper Jeremias Moreno had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Mina. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute of play. Julian Murillo scored 3-3 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Moreno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ADM Taquaras made a substitution. Nestor Soeiro replaced Radowit Dziuma. An unexpectedly hard shot by Áron Bódog in the 73rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Áron Bódog was slow to take the kick. During this time ADM Taquaras's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Tales De Mileto heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Jeremias Moreno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 80th minute. In the 80th minute, Julian Murillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremias Moreno. The goal made the score 3-4. Jeremias Moreno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milagros Fraga in the 83rd minute of play. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Áron Bódog, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Nestor Soeiro took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Noboa. Rolando Noboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-4. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. ADM Taquaras succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
