Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Nicklas Lindström made a throw-in in the 8th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gao Peng Ran sent off a good shot on target. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Mina in the 15th minute of play. Benne Benneborg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Benne Benneborg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 22nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Milagros Fraga however managed to control. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Peru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Alvarado to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gao Peng Ran. Nicklas Lindström hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benne Benneborg. Northland Vikings's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 36thth minute of the game Gao Peng Ran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peru's Rolando Noboa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benne Benneborg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Julian Murillo's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Gao Peng Ran struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northland Vikings. Luz Tejedor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 56th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, Northland Vikings's Gao Peng Ran made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Nicklas Lindström in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Gao Peng Ran hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Northland Vikings's Benne Benneborg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Northland Vikings getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Silverio Padro hit a great ball. In the 67th minute, Silverio Padro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benne Benneborg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 86th minute of the match. Jonatan Gerdberg kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. After a rather tough play, Northland Vikings's Jonatan Gerdberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's goalkeeper Benne Benneborg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Tenorio. Northland Vikings succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Peru had controlled the match.
