Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomás Quadros kicked off to start the match. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Bob Cazeneuve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind MLM's goalkeeper Bob Cazeneuve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by MLM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bob Cazeneuve in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 9th match minute, MLM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Romelio to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Tomás Quadros hit a great ball. MLM's Bob Cazeneuve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 13th minute of play. When MLM's Tomás Quadros in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. 17 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bob Cazeneuve. MLM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Zorita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bob Cazeneuve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Argi Saura during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MLM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Argi Saura didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bob Cazeneuve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, MLM's Armando Alabern got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. MLM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 42 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Tomás Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Juan Sebastián Puig sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bob Cazeneuve narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

With a little luck, MLM's Bob Cazeneuve got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MLM! Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Bob Cazeneuve made a huge save. 75 minutes into the match, MLM's goalkeeper Bob Cazeneuve had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Henrik Tidén during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Henrik Tidén. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to MLM getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Blas Romelio hit a great ball. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 87 minutes into the game, Felix Montes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MLM the free kick. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Felix Montes. Gartzea Vera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xavian Revuelta lost his temper 90 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of MLM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. After 93 played minutes MLM got a freekick which was hit by Blas Romelio. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when MLM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliverio Lopez de Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Zorita, 99 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than MLM.
