In the 6th match minute, Esenyurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdinç İlenç to maneuver through the defense. Batıkan İrem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alptuğ Ulusu to make the kick off. Faruk Başkur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Esenyurt's Faruk Başkur got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alptuğ Ulusu, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Faruk Başkur came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Esenyurt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faruk Başkur couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alptuğ Ulusu in the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Alptuğ Ulusu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esenyurt had played much better football throughout.
