After 39 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zabulón Carabajal was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Joery Hylen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Celedonio Kemen tried to sneak it across the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

54 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Kemen came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Philipp Van Kestbeek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th match minute, FC Klavertje Vier was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Kemen to maneuver through the defense. FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Klavertje Vier from getting a goal against them. Zabulón Carabajal made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Kemen went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
