CA Portugália's Rogério Soberano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 32nd minute of play. After 35th play minutes Thiago Senna shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Dante Lacasa and just under the crossbar into goal. 38 minutes in the game Macos Graciani did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Alberto Tafalla. Rogério Soberano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 44th minute of play forced CA Portugália's goalkeeper Rogério Soberano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mexico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CA Portugália the free kick. Dante Lacasa had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Serafino Gaitano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rogério Soberano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA Portugália's Fernandinho Barral managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Macos Graciani in the 65 minute of the game. Rogério Soberano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barry Gunn in the 85th minute of the match. Mexico's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because CA Portugália had won, even though Mexico had held more of the ball.
