If Andreas Falk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ture Lundgren took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leal Simões. Leal Simões dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Tálas in the 9th minute of play. KINGS FC's Leal Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save KINGS FC from getting a goal against them. Leal Simões made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Ture Waller sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Zoltán Tálas put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Benne Benneborg. Manuel Carneiro hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Antonio Čolak was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 32nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Zoltán Tálas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zoltán Tálas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Benne Benneborg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ture Waller could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Leal Simões made a huge save. Benne Benneborg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoltán Tálas in the 45th minute of play. Benne Benneborg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jānis Blūms went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ture Lundgren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Andreas Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leal Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ture Waller, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. KINGS FC's Leal Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Falk in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Northland Vikings getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ralf Allgöwer hit a great ball. Northland Vikings's Benjamin Rosen was substituted for Ture Waller. In the 72nd minute, Ralf Allgöwer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Calçada in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benne Benneborg saved Northland Vikings from getting behind. Leal Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Čolak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KINGS FC were furious when Gökmen Tanbey was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 88th minute, one of KINGS FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KINGS FC. KINGS FC:s Leal Simões showed great skill when he stopped Ture Lundgren:s penalty. In the 91st minute Benjamin Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manuel Carneiro during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Manuel Carneiro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
