An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play forced Jukatriz's goalkeeper Oséas Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jukatriz's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Arif Ozan Sureha sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Oséas Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Ecuador's Felix Montes to fire away a dangerous shot which Oséas Albuquerque despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Arif Ozan Sureha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oséas Albuquerque showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of play forced Jukatriz's goalkeeper Oséas Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Ozan Sureha got free with Julio Vera in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Oséas Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oséas Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Montenegro in the 26th minute of play. Oséas Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Oséas Albuquerque reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cássio de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oséas Albuquerque saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jukatriz's Oséas Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleto Matxin in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleto Matxin struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jukatriz. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Oséas Albuquerque to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Soeiro in the 61st minute of the match. If Cleto Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Jukatriz booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jukatriz's Augusto Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan Sebastián Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arif Ozan Sureha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio de Alcântara in the 80th minute of play. Cássio de Alcântara hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Jukatriz's goalkeeper Oséas Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Jukatriz were victorious despite being under pressure from Ecuador for much of the match.
