In the 24th of the match, Daan Leers tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Julio Vera got in the way and made a wonderful save. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Qiu Yao Cheng was slow to take the kick. During this time 重庆1997联队's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to 重庆1997联队's 郑崇谦 getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Daan Leers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 33 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pang Bang Xun saved 重庆1997联队 from getting behind. Pang Bang Xun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 37th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after 重庆1997联队's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pang Bang Xun quite easily take care of the ball.
