With a little luck, FC Klavertje Vier's Zabulón Carabajal got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celedonio Kemen in the 30th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iwan Marchefka during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Klavertje Vier's goalkeeper Zabulón Carabajal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zabulón Carabajal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Rafael Gallo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zabulón Carabajal was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. FC Klavertje Vier's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
