In the 23rd minute 苏升骋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, 苏升骋 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Tomas Berganza hit a great ball. Marcos Cotilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 苏升骋's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 傅希森 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of 宁夏足球未来希望之星 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Garrido didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Panama's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 傅希森 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when 苏升骋 made the kick off in the second half. 苏升骋's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 傅希森 came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 郭乐镇 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. 3-1 came in the 59th minute when Abraham Alguacil all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of 傅希森. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Isidoro Sarmiento got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Matthew Garrido hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. 傅希森 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 89th minute of play forced 宁夏足球未来希望之星's goalkeeper 傅希森 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 苏升骋 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 93 in the game by 苏升骋 from a close distance when the talented Marcos Cotilla managed to make a qualified save. Panama's players were relieved. Isidoro Sarmiento's late challenge caught a 宁夏足球未来希望之星's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidoro Sarmiento helped the player get up and apologised. After 97 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento.
