The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Prospero Goethe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Jamal Roye came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 17 minute. With 23 minutes on the clock, Francisco Carballar commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chile! The referee gave Friesenwerdermoor a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gerhard Neoral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. 2-2. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. Jamal Roye hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennard Rossmanith in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlando Casaus was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute Hermann Luscher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermann Luscher, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. If Orlando Casaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lennard Rossmanith in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Hermann Luscher came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Pedro Indiano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Artur Schade in the 60 minute of the game. Xavier Figueroa might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Goethe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xavier Figueroa ran back to his position shaking his head. Friesenwerdermoor made a substitution. Pekin Energin replaced Lennard Rossmanith. When Artur Schade fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Friesenwerdermoor's protests and gave Artur Schade a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Friesenwerdermoor getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Artur Schade hit a great ball. Orlando Casaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
