Laureano Christobal might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laureano Christobal ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bora Türehan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After having played for 47 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Karaburun FC's goalkeeper Márk Pécsi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. In the 59th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Sebastián Puig to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Yüksel Çınar came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karaburun FC's Adnan Yılma got a free kick in the 64th minute. Bora Türehan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Laureano Christobal took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Bora Türehan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Bora Türehan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yüksel Çınar in the 76th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Yüksel Çınar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yüksel Çınar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Yüksel Çınar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6-0 became the score in the 88th minute when Bora Türehan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Karaburun FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
