Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 14th minute of play forced Orrenhof JK's goalkeeper Kiur Hütt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Orrenhof JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neeme Nõmmemaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orrenhof JK's Kiur Hütt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. When Evald Ärm fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orrenhof JK's protests and gave Evald Ärm a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Orrenhof JK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Evald Ärm hit a great ball. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Orrenhof JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evald Ärm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute, Georg Aas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiur Hütt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orrenhof JK's Raimo Niklus was substituted for Koit Vägi. Orrenhof JK's Rein Naarits was substituted for Evald Ärm. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elmar Villand was the one to do the kick off. 61 minutes into the match, Orrenhof JK's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Kiur Hütt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimo Niklus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Orrenhof JK fully deserved thier win.
