An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 6th minute of play forced Dværgetved's goalkeeper Nikolai Vejtsbøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseo Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Dværgetved's Nikolai Vejtsbøl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luz Tejedor in the 12th minute of play. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when 秦剑亦 made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nikolai Vejtsbøl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Peru booed when Dværgetved was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. 秦剑亦 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nikolai Vejtsbøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 28th minute of play. Nikolai Vejtsbøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milagros Fraga in the 34th minute of the match. Peru were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Dværgetved's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. After 37 played minutes Dværgetved got a freekick which was hit by Dino Ursini. 秦剑亦 made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Emil Klitmark however managed to control. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolai Vejtsbøl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikolai Vejtsbøl made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

Dino Ursini kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Julian Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Gabriel Batistuta made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Milagros Fraga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 65th playminute. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Julian Murillo took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Nikolai Vejtsbøl to make any attempt to save it. Dværgetved made a substitution. Thorkil Jardenfeldt replaced Emil Klitmark. 73 minutes into the match, Dværgetved's goalkeeper Nikolai Vejtsbøl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Murillo. Nikolai Vejtsbøl didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 76th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Dværgetved's Carmichael Carbery was substituted for Márton Herczegh. Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. After a rather tough play, Dværgetved's Bernhardt Trøjbjerg got a free kick in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Dværgetved's Nikolai Vejtsbøl got control of the ball when Rafael Gallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dværgetved's Nikolai Vejtsbøl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dværgetved from getting a goal against them. After 89 minutes, Dino Ursini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dværgetved and the Peru players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Rafael Gallo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. Nikolai Vejtsbøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eliseo Mina in the 100th minute. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Nikolai Vejtsbøl despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Peru's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
