Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Samuel Etoo, made in the 10th minute of the game. After 15 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abdulvahit Erencan who took care of the corner kick. Vintilă Roşu made a great header on XL-Azrail Team's corner, it was just that Peru's Rolando Noboa managed to reach the ball for a save. XL-Azrail Team were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Peru's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Abdulvahit Erencan took the corner. Nurkan Beycan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 45th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. In the 59th minute Eliseo Mina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nurkan Beycan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 65th minute of play forced XL-Azrail Team's goalkeeper Nurkan Beycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Peru defense, 康雄霆 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolando Noboa. The Peru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolando Noboa should have stopped the shot. XL-Azrail Team made a substitution. Wieland Wipp replaced Onuralp Tun. Rolando Noboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Milagros Fraga immediately put the ball in play. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nurkan Beycan came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 90th minute. With a little luck, XL-Azrail Team's Nurkan Beycan got control of the ball when Milagros Fraga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Peru were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after XL-Azrail Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of XL-Azrail Team's goalie and right to Antonio Tenorio. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. XL-Azrail Team's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Peru players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
