A throw-in in the 2nd minute of the game was made by Samuel Etoo with Kala Mala as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. A sloppy throw-in by Samuel Etoo in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Alonso Berganza. After a rather tough play, Peru's Alonso Berganza got a free kick in the 7th minute. 10 minutes in the game Alonso Berganza did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Moises Gayoso. Efraim Gilabert charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efraim Gilabert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Peru fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Peru:s Rolando Noboa showed great skill when he stopped Samuel Etoo:s penalty. Peru's Alonso Berganza quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Samuel Etoo, made in the 17th minute of the game. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 25th minute. Joaquin Prats made a great header on Peru's corner, it was just that XL-Azrail Team's Nurkan Beycan managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the XL-Azrail Team defense, Milagros Fraga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nurkan Beycan. The XL-Azrail Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nurkan Beycan should have stopped the shot. Nurkan Beycan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Milagros Fraga in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by XL-Azrail Team's Kala Mala. A throw-in in the 40th minute of the game was made by Emmanuel Reyes with Milagros Fraga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. XL-Azrail Team's Fatih-Sultan Tekke got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Samuel Etoo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 46 played minutes XL-Azrail Team got a freekick which was hit by Onuralp Tun.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fatih-Sultan Tekke was the one to do the kick off. XL-Azrail Team's Nurkan Beycan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save XL-Azrail Team from getting a goal against them. In the 55th minute Oséias Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 60th minute. The corner led Peru's Luz Tejedor to fire away a dangerous shot which Nurkan Beycan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, XL-Azrail Team's Samuel Etoo got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 68 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Aietes Rigatos came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, XL-Azrail Team's Nurkan Beycan got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match Peru got a corner. XL-Azrail Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vintilă Roşu tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Nurkan Beycan. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nurkan Beycan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Nurkan Beycan made a huge save. XL-Azrail Team's Nurkan Beycan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of play. In the 78th minute of the match Peru got a corner. XL-Azrail Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Peru's Julian Murillo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nurkan Beycan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 82nd minute of the match Peru got a corner. XL-Azrail Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Mina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fatih-Sultan Tekke in the 86th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Samuel Etoo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Antonio Tenorio scored 0-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nurkan Beycan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Peru players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
