Koen Poels was slow to take the kick. During this time Flashdynamica's players had a chance to rest. Barry Zalm's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 15 minutes of play, Flashdynamica's Michael Scott made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michael Scott got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Flashdynamica's Barry Zalm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koen Poels in the 30th minute of play. Barry Zalm had several of the Venezuela's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 31 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Jonathan Ferrant as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Tommie Meyer hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant stood somewhat misplaced when Barry Zalm came free in front of goal and shot 5-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute.

In the 58th minute of the game Edgard Veldkamp made a throw-in which Brain Veldman played forward. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Zalm, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 66 minutes Flashdynamica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Illescas who took care of the corner kick. 70 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Zalm came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Flashdynamica's corner Koen Poels fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. After 74 minutes of play, Flashdynamica's Brain Veldman made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Flashdynamica made a substitution. Xavi Simons replaced Michael Scott. Flashdynamica's Hendrik-Jan Krommert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Flashdynamica from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koen Poels in the 81st minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xavi Simons came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Flashdynamica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavi Simons couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Flashdynamica's goalkeeper Hendrik-Jan Krommert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Barry Zalm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flashdynamica fully deserved thier win.
