In the 34th minute Alonso Mangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonso Mangas to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Román Morales. Haiti's attentive Ernso Constant managed to snatch the ball when Urdin Gonzáles made a throw-in in the 57th minute of the game. Benet Rosario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Benet Rosario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aceuchal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benet Rosario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Aceuchal FC booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Alphonse didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aratz Garzon fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aceuchal FC's protests and gave Aratz Garzon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 74th minute, Aratz Garzon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Benet Rosario tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonso Mangas in the 81st minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Haiti's zone, Xurxo Carceles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Seide came out of the goal and Xurxo Carceles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonso Mangas in the 90th minute of play forced Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute Alonso Mangas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Seide came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Aceuchal FC's Gabi Vega. But to his dismay, Gabi Vega quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.
