Monty Rogers scored 0-3 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikolai Vejtsbøl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 18 minutes, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cassius Byrne was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cassius Byrne in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nikolai Vejtsbøl saved Dværgetved from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cassius Byrne managed to get in a good position for a shot. USA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cassius Byrne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nikolai Vejtsbøl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute, Cassius Byrne ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nikolai Vejtsbøl was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Márton Herczegh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Batistuta. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Nikolai Vejtsbøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 39th minute of play. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikolai Vejtsbøl having to interfere. Márton Herczegh's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Jenson Smith kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cassius Byrne in the 51st minute of play forced Dværgetved's goalkeeper Nikolai Vejtsbøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. USA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cassius Byrne in the 52nd minute. Jacob May was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 53rd match minute, Dværgetved was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zoltán Nyilasi to maneuver through the defense. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márton Herczegh in the 55th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, USA's Cassius Byrne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Monty Rogers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikolai Vejtsbøl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. The corner led to USA's Diego Bradley getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When Dværgetved's Márton Herczegh in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye USA's goalie prevented a goal. Dværgetved were awarded a corner in the 96th minute after USA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zoltán Nyilasi took the corner. The corner led Dværgetved's Zoltán Nyilasi to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
