The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Julian Murillo to strike the kick off in the second half. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Altan Çağa in the 57 minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Peru's corner Luz Tejedor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ciprian Siteavu quite easily take care of the ball.
