Wesley Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 16 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Wesley Pombal lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lautaro Navarro. After 20 played minutes 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Ulysses Abraão. In the 21st minute of the match Luca Espinar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Galvão skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th minute, Ulysses Abraão made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulysses Abraão in the 28th minute of play. Wesley Pombal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Wesley Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Lautaro Navarro managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's Mauro Nunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Moises Tafalla kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bruno Damião, made in the 51st minute of the game. Mauro Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Rafa Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emanuel de Sena was slow to take the kick. During this time 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's players had a chance to rest. 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's Emanuel de Sena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lautaro Navarro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Ulysses Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. Honduras's attentive Valentín Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Damião made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. Luciano Galvão made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Edmundo Espiga sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Emanuel de Sena stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Emanuel de Sena tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wesley Pombal during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wesley Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
