The supporters of Honduras booed when 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Abraão came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. After a rather tough play, 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's Aílton Fernandes got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Luciano Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68 minutes, Falcão Simão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. Falcão Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysses Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Edmundo Espiga. Bruno Damião made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. Luciano Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 86th minute, Aílton Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga managed to work through 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Edmundo Espiga dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After 93 minutes, Milagros Cabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Honduras and the 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. 〇乙ᗩᖇḰ ᗰ乙ᑕ - FDFDF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Honduras had controlled the match.
