Futuros FC's João Carlos Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alberto Tafalla hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mai Xun Kang in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krakaca Neto got free with Dante Lacasa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Beto Smith sent off a good shot on target. João Carlos Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. João Carlos Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Xun Kang in the 37th minute of the match. When Lorenzo Cazalla fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Lorenzo Cazalla a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Futuros FC booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Cazalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Futuros FC's Afonso Pinhal shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 40th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dante Lacasa but with some difficulty. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Krakaca Neto was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krakaca Neto in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. Mai Xun Kang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. João Carlos Andrade took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute Krakaca Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Krakaca Neto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Futuros FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 72 minutes of play, Futuros FC's Beto Smith made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which João Carlos Andrade however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Krakaca Neto in the 79th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Krakaca Neto came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes, Lucas Hernández mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futuros FC and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Futuros FC had won after a very even match.
