After 74 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Şimandan who took care of the corner kick. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Daniel Şimandan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 77 minutes into the match, LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Felix Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
