The goalkeeper, Jonathan Ferrant, was totally fooled by Moneteria's Mateusz Chazon, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Hugon Milko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute Hugon Milko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kacper Resel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Hugon Milko came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Cwynar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kacper Resel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Patricio Costa made the kick off in the second half. If Joshua Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moneteria the free kick. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Moneteria's Alfred Gacek was substituted for Leon Grucza. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugon Milko in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigiusz Wiatrak in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Moneteria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Gacek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moneteria the free kick. The supporters of Moneteria booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Iwan Misiewicz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Many of Venezuela's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Venezuela may have spent more time on the ball, but Moneteria were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
