In the 2nd minute, Andres Ubelteso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the game, Segundo Feliu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Silverio Cordearo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Antoine Griezmann struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Silverio Cordearo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bicicleta F.C.. Andres Ubelteso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Lennartsson in the 15th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CA Quake booed when Bicicleta F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Iraitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Rogelio Sadurni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tony Löv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Ubelteso in the 21st minute of play. In the 24th minute, Andres Ubelteso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gregorio Abalos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Feliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordearo having to interfere. After 41 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Reyes. When Gaston Astrada fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bicicleta F.C.'s protests and gave Gaston Astrada a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bicicleta F.C. getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Gaston Astrada hit a great ball. Bo Lennartsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Cordearo having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bo Lennartsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Bo Lennartsson came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bicicleta F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bo Lennartsson couldn't finish the play. Silverio Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Lennartsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bo Lennartsson in the 55th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Bicicleta F.C. were awarded a corner. Antoine Griezmann went to the cornerflag to take it. Silverio Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Maore in the 66th minute of play. CA Quake's Jacobo Mouricio was substituted for Victoriano Sustrai. In the 85th minute Antoine Griezmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bicicleta F.C.'s Tony Löv played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Ubelteso in the 86th minute of play. Silverio Cordearo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antoine Griezmann in the 87th minute. After a defensive mix-up in CA Quake's zone, Bernardino Edwardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silverio Cordearo came out of the goal and Bernardino Edwardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antoine Griezmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eleuterio Sotil came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silverio Cordearo could save by the left post.
