Qiao Ang Le fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Zawacki having to interfere. Pankracy Zawacki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qiao Ang Le in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Pégasus F. C.'s goalkeeper Umberto Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ildefonso Fliz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bebeto Medeiros in the 24th minute of play forced Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bebeto Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Shaun De Battista fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Umberto Cunha, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Czornomaz in the 29th minute of play forced Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Czornomaz took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Zawacki. Pankracy Zawacki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Xande Sharkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Aron Ghinescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adrian Czornomaz in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pankracy Zawacki prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pankracy Zawacki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xande Sharkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Umberto Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ildefonso Fliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Umberto Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aron Ghinescu in the 40th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Meerkats FC's goal looked a bit too open when Qiao Ang Le came free, but Pankracy Zawacki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Meerkats FC's Stephan Lentini got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The Meerkats FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pégasus F. C. were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ildefonso Fliz was the one to do the kick off. 50 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Fliz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha. Umberto Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Meerkats FC's Alfred Coleiro got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xande Sharkin in the 56th minute of play forced Meerkats FC's goalkeeper Pankracy Zawacki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Pégasus F. C.'s Xande Sharkin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pankracy Zawacki. Pankracy Zawacki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 60th minute Ildefonso Fliz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Umberto Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Fliz notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Pégasus F. C.'s Umberto Cunha. Umberto Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pégasus F. C. made a substitution. Samuca Tepedino replaced Paulo José Barral. Umberto Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shaun De Battista in the 71st minute of the match. The Meerkats FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pankracy Zawacki should have stopped the shot. The Pégasus F. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pégasus F. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
