América-SC F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo dos Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Man Fish breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nestor Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hao Fan Yong in the 82nd minute of the match. The corner led América-SC F.C.'s Elder Domingues to fire away a dangerous shot which Man Fish despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 89th minute Hao Fan Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, Maxim Tilea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maxim Tilea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
