FC Shifen III's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Orlando Casaus heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Mariano Lacasas short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Georg Godholm to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Cesario in the 18th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Cesario came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Lacasa in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Georg Godholm, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacinto Cesario in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Cesario in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 25 minutes into the match, Kristoffer Jelm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristoffer Jelm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Jelm in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match FC Shifen III got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddy Dimo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Melker Jokiranta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Georg Godholm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 34 in the game by Mariano Lacasa from a close distance when the talented Georg Godholm managed to make a qualified save. FC Shifen III's players were relieved. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Georg Godholm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. FC Shifen III's Georg Godholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Shifen III's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mariano Lacasa was slow to take the kick. During this time Chile's players had a chance to rest. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Shifen III's Georg Godholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 75th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Kristoffer Jelm took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to FC Shifen III getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alf Fredriksson hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Georg Godholm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Georg Godholm. FC Shifen III's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After a rather tough play, Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Shifen III players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chile.
