Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. spikarna's Lars Norberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. After having played for 7 minutes, Atakan Pepe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. spikarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Atakan Pepe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Felix Montes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Sven Nordkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lars Norberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Norberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven Nordkvist in the 31st minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atakan Pepe got free with Julio Vera in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Camilo Gisbert during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. In the 41st minute, Sune Offendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lars Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Hård to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustín Saelices hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes spikarna got a freekick which was hit by Sune Offendahl. spikarna made a substitution. Olof Hamnberg replaced Niklas Söderberg. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Lars Norberg however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, spikarna's Lars Norberg got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th match minute, spikarna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olof Hamnberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lars Norberg quite easily take care of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lars Norberg, 1-2. The audience was convinced that Kaj Hård's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Lars Norberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Nordkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaj Hård in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Atakan Pepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. spikarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Atakan Pepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
