The corner ended in 韩寒笑 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Rigoberto Mina got a free kick in the 14th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 沈广银 in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. In the 30th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerasimos Karastamatis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 沈广银's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Jonathan Ferrant skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 36thth minute of the game 沈广银 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 深藏功与名's Gerasimos Karastamatis. Gerasimos Karastamatis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Tomas Illescas had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Albert Eftimescu's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Eftimescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Venezuela booed when 深藏功与名 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albert Eftimescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerasimos Karastamatis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Secada, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roberto Ocampo was the one to do the kick off. 朱庭文 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 59th minute 沈广银 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, 朱庭文 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When 深藏功与名's 沈广银 in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 袁乐威, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When 沈广银 came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the 深藏功与名 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 沈广银 couldn't finish the play. Roberto Ocampo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 沈广银 in the 95th minute of play. 深藏功与名 were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
