OSMANİYE FK 1996's Nathan Cannavaro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Serhan Şemsifer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serhan Şemsifer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute, Micki Alting fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
