Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Waldo Renteria got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dario Wilhelm came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 after 13 minutes of play. After 15 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Zoilo Doblas. In the 16th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 19th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustín Saelices to maneuver through the defense. Waldo Renteria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Wilhelm. Dario Wilhelm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to a score. 1-4 in the 42nd minute. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 46th minute of play.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Dario Wilhelm in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Claude Joyner. Claude Joyner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claude Joyner didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cascade Park West's Wang Sha Qian was substituted for Amir Lee. Piotr Brzakala hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Chad Busby replaced Zoilo Doblas. In the 88th minute, Piotr Brzakala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador played a much better game than Cascade Park West and deserved their victory. The Cascade Park West players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
