Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Penuel Football Club's Matías Almeyda started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Veronica Vielva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Gaona in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Veronica Vielva saved Penuel Football Club from getting behind. Alberto Tafalla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Veronica Vielva having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Veronica Vielva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Mancebo scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Veronica Vielva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 12 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Veronica Vielva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Veronica Vielva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Veronica Vielva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veronica Vielva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Penuel Football Club's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veronica Vielva came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Veronica Vielva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Veronica Vielva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Gaona struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Veronica Vielva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 32nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Veronica Vielva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 35th minute of play forced Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Veronica Vielva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Veronica Vielva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Veronica Vielva. Veronica Vielva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. 42 minutes into the match, Lautaro Mancebo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Veronica Vielva. Penuel Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lautaro Mancebo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Veronica Vielva was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. 55 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona lined in a short shot 0-9 behind a frustrated Veronica Vielva. Veronica Vielva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Macos Graciani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 61 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Veronica Vielva, 0-10. Penuel Football Club's Veronica Vielva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th play minute Lautaro Mancebo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Veronica Vielva. 0-11. Penuel Football Club made a substitution. Goizeder Getino replaced Danel Ayllon. Penuel Football Club's Ramos Cuyar was substituted for Fernando Cavenaghi. After 71 minutes, Alberto Tafalla made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Penuel Football Club's Veronica Vielva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. Penuel Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Alberto Tafalla to a score. 0-13 in the 76th minute. Alberto Tafalla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-14 to the left of a surprised Veronica Vielva 80 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Veronica Vielva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 84th minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Veronica Vielva. The goal made the score 0-15. 87 minutes into the match, Penuel Football Club's goalkeeper Veronica Vielva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Veronica Vielva stood somewhat misplaced when Lautaro Mancebo came free in front of goal and shot 0-16 to the left of him in the 90 minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Veronica Vielva in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Facundo Cadaval might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Veronica Vielva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Facundo Cadaval ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Facundo Cadaval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Veronica Vielva. That made the score 0-17 after 96 minutes of play. Mexico played a much better game than Penuel Football Club and deserved their victory. The Penuel Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
