Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Joyner in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Felix Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Wilhelm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Waldo Renteria tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldo Renteria. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 25th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm managed to reach the ball for a save. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Claude Joyner received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Vera came out and tried to block the shot, but Claude Joyner slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. Dario Wilhelm didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Dario Wilhelm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Dario Wilhelm however easily saved by the left post. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Cascade Park West from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cascade Park West's Rashad Richardson got a free kick in the 55th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rdth minute of the game Luis Andino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Cascade Park West's Waldo Renteria. But to his dismay, Waldo Renteria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jamar Orlinsky kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Cascade Park West made a substitution. Isidro Singleton replaced Rashad Richardson. After 83 played minutes Cascade Park West got a freekick which was hit by Jamar Orlinsky. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldo Renteria in the 87th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
