Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marten Palermo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 7th minute of play forced Belfegor FC's goalkeeper Fede Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Marten Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marten Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Fede Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Belfegor FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marten Palermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Modesto Bernal sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 24 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fede Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Luis Andino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fede Gomes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Belfegor FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eriberto Montel hit a great ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marten Palermo got free with Julio Vera in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fede Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fede Gomes having to interfere. Fede Gomes made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 54th minute. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Belfegor FC's Fede Gomes managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Colas in the 58th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Colas came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fede Gomes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Belfegor FC's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fede Gomes came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Belfegor FC's Saverio Orlondon was substituted for Cesar Barbosa. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Everardo Colas in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Belfegor FC made a substitution. Domingos Nabar replaced Simon Lapurdi. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Bernal was slow to take the kick. During this time Belfegor FC's players had a chance to rest. Camilo Gisbert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 71 minutes, Everardo Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belfegor FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Everardo Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 79th match minute, Belfegor FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Bernal to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marten Palermo in the 83rd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Marten Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Marten Palermo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marten Palermo in the 87th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marten Palermo in the 92nd minute of play. Everardo Colas kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 95th minute, Amos Menichini hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
