Gustaf Tiede might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaf Tiede ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaf Tiede in the 28th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes AB Tårnby got a freekick which was hit by Ian Axelfeldt. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by AB Tårnby's Gustaf Tiede. But to his dismay, Gustaf Tiede quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kenn Fronval tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when AB Tårnby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karsten Lund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenn Fronval made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 57th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rune Reevold during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to AB Tårnby getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Rune Reevold hit a great ball. Ebbe Guldbrand kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of AB Tårnby booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaf Tiede, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. AB Tårnby had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
