Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 6th minute Patricio Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Forssell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kerkûk FC's Esbjörn Forssell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Isaac Kilberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Kerkûk FC's Walery Fikus in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esbjörn Forssell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Esbjörn Forssell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Adam Bareiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kerkûk FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Bareiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esbjörn Forssell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Esbjörn Forssell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Costa in the 52nd minute of play forced Kerkûk FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Forssell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Forssell having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Venegas during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas got a free kick in the 60th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walery Fikus in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Walery Fikus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camilo Gaos's late challenge caught a Kerkûk FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gaos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adam Bareiro took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. A collision led to Kerkûk FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Matthias Norberg hit a great ball. In the 88th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerkûk FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
