In the 18th minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Radomil Giejda in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Thiago Pliego, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 23rd minute of play forced Czechovitz Czechowice's goalkeeper Szymon Wolnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Czechovitz Czechowice's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Szymon Wolnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomil Giejda in the 34th minute of play. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radomil Giejda in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Wolnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Szymon Wolnik narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Czechovitz Czechowice fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! Szymon Wolnik had in the 44thth minute some difficulties stopping Mariano Lacasa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Orlando Casaus hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Radomil Giejda made the kick off in the second half. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th minute Chile were awarded a corner. Mariano Lacasa went to the cornerflag to take it. After 55 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Pozo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Szymon Wolnik in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Casaus to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute of the match, Mariano Lacasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Szymon Wolnik was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A nice corner shot did that Xavier Figueroa got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Szymon Wolnik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Szymon Wolnik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Szymon Wolnik made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. 74 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Czechovitz Czechowice's Szymon Wolnik. Szymon Wolnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Czechovitz Czechowice's Napoleon Brytan was substituted for Xalo Domenech. After having played for 83 minutes, Radomil Giejda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czechovitz Czechowice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radomil Giejda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Czechovitz Czechowice's Szymon Wolnik got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
