Saint Jean Pierre kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Daniel Elsens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Noel Seide. Haiti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Elsens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Jonathan Alphonse recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dylan Van den Broeck. Jonathan Alphonse showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonathan Alphonse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dylan Van den Broeck. That made the score 2-1 in the 17 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gesner Philippe got free with Dylan Van den Broeck in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Haiti's Noel Seide played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Elsens in the 24th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saint Jean Pierre during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Waterhoek booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saint Jean Pierre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remie Van Halbeeck charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remie Van Halbeeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Remie Van Halbeeck hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Noel Seide didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mike Kustermans went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Ernso Constant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 39 minutes into the game, Waterhoek's Mike Kustermans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Noel Seide made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. 42 minutes into the match, Waterhoek's Mike Kustermans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Seide narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Noel Seide came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Waterhoek's Daniel Elsens. But to his dismay, Daniel Elsens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. After the first half Waterhoek were leading 2-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Elsens was the one to do the kick off. Haiti's Ernso Constant got his second yellow card of the match in the 55th minute. The referee ordered Ernso Constant off the ground. In the 55th minute, Ernso Constant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Daniel Elsens fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waterhoek's protests and gave Daniel Elsens a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Haiti booed when Waterhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Elsens didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, Haiti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Louis to maneuver through the defense. Samuel De Haes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Noel Seide made a huge save. 68 minutes into the game, Jean Marie Alcius threw the ball into play from the sideline. Waterhoek's Stein Goos quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel De Haes got free with Noel Seide in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Elsens kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Seide. That made the score 2-5 in the 78 minute of play. Daniel Elsens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Waterhoek's Daniel Elsens made it 2-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Noel Seide was left in no man's land by his defense there! Haiti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Mike Kustermans scored to the left of an out of position Noel Seide, making the score, 2-7. Waterhoek's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
