Sven Wollans might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Demonde Jacobson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Wollans ran back to his position shaking his head. After 42 minutes, Jacques Buyck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Waterhoek and the Jamaica players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Elsens to strike the kick off in the second half. When Mike Kustermans fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Waterhoek's protests and gave Mike Kustermans a yellow card for diving instead. Daniel Elsens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. Daniel Elsens in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Demonde Jacobson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dylan Van den Broeck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Finlay Stair in the 58th minute of play.
